According to recent data, Queensland leads the pack with average RN salaries reaching approximately $95,469, bolstered by competitive graduate pay in select areas. The Northern Territory follows closely, offering average salaries around $93,085, reflecting the region’s push to attract and retain healthcare professionals in remote communities.

In New South Wales, nurses earn an average of $85,813, with entry-level salaries starting at $71,890 and experienced professionals commanding upwards of $108,000. Victoria trails slightly behind, with an average RN salary of $83,548, though entry-level nurses may start at $67,759.

Western Australia presents a broad range for RNs, typically between $85,000 and $100,000, with some reports suggesting figures as high as $125,000. Enrolled Nurses (ENs) in Perth earn between $75,000 and $80,000 annually.
