
Sydney, August 30, 2025 — Australia has emerged as a leading destination for international students, with Nepal now ranking third in student enrollment, according to the latest data released by the Australian Department of Education.
As of 2025, 57,048 Nepali students are enrolled in universities and colleges across various Australian states, reflecting the country’s growing appeal for higher education among Nepali youth.
Australia currently hosts students from over 50 countries. The top three international student populations are:
